When you meet your child's teacher — at a parent-teacher meeting, a progress review or an admissions conversation — the school can use Vidyapeeth360's AI assistant to take notes, and afterwards choose to share a summary with you.

What a shared summary is

A short, readable record of the conversation: what was discussed, the key points, any decisions made, and the follow-ups everyone agreed to. Before anything reaches you, a member of the school staff reviews the notes, edits them where needed, and approves them. Nothing is shared automatically, and the school can withdraw a shared summary at any time.

What is shared — and what never is

Only the reviewed summary, decisions and action items are shared. The conversation itself is not: the recording is never stored — speech is transcribed and the audio is discarded immediately — and the transcript never leaves the school's staff. What you see is the school's reviewed account of the meeting, not a recording or a word-for-word log.

Where it appears

• Parent portal: on your home page, under each child, as "Meeting notes from the school".
• Student portal: when a teacher shares a class summary, students see it on their overview as "Class notes from your teacher".
• Mobile app: the same cards appear in the Vidyapeeth360 parent and student apps.

If the school hasn't shared anything, no card appears at all — you will never see an empty section.

A shared summary is written to be clear on its own, but if anything is unclear — a decision you don't remember, a follow-up you'd like to discuss — contact the school directly. The teachers and staff who were in the meeting are the right people to ask; the summary is simply their reviewed record of what was said.
